4. Mission, values, operating principles
The mission is to provide high-quality physiotherapy services in the Helsinki area and remotely.
The company serves clients from young to elderly.
Physiotherapy is carried out as individual therapy. In addition, as an entrepreneur, I provide lecture and expert services that are not region-dependent.
Physiotherapy is based on information obtained through interviews and examinations of the client. Through careful interviews and examinations, factors limiting functional ability as well as the individual's own motivation and resources are identified. It is important to identify underlying diseases, limitations, pain and their impact on functional ability. A treatment plan is drawn up together with the client based on the interviews and examinations to support the client's functional ability.
The purpose of physiotherapy is to activate the client in voluntary exercise and activity, which achieves long-term benefits in functional ability. Mobility, strength and endurance training are key here. However, in acute pain situations or when functional capacity is impaired, the most important thing is to get rid of the pain and the current functional limitation so that training can be successful.
Physiotherapy is based on research data and valid practices that have achieved evidence-based results in rehabilitation.
The client's quality of life and functional ability are the most important, the degree number obtained from the meter for a body part is secondary information

6. Participation of the client and family and client feedback
The client actively participates in physiotherapy and its planning. Together, a treatment plan is drawn up, which is based on the set goals.
7. Risk identification, prevention and corrective measures and client safety
The aim is to avoid risks as much as possible in advance. In therapy, it is important to interview and collect background information so that therapy can be planned and implemented safely and effectively for the client, taking into account underlying illnesses and limitations.
In an emergency, for example in the event of a fire, people are first rescued and initial extinguishing measures are carried out within the limits permitted by safety. In the above-mentioned cases and in cases of illness, the general emergency number 112 is called and emergency first aid is provided if necessary. In situations that threaten safety, such as when an outside person threatens the physiotherapist or client, the police are contacted and instructions are followed. The primary aim is to lock the doors and prevent the threatening person from entering. For example, with a person under the influence of drugs or threatening, the primary aim is to discuss and resolve the threatening situation, and if necessary, the necessary force is used in situations that threaten one's own health or the health of others. In environmental and natural disasters, for example in a dangerous situation that exposes the patient to radiation, the instructions given by the authorities are followed.
8. Self-monitoring of service content
Client status, rights and legal protection
Physiotherapy is client-oriented and implemented according to goals and wishes. All clients are treated equally and the treatment aims to achieve the best possible outcome. The client has the right to decide on the frequency of therapy visits and the duration of the treatment relationship. The rights are based on the Act on the Status and Rights of the Patient.
In case of problems, the client can contact the Länsi-Uusimaa Patient Ombudsman. The primary aim is to resolve problems and complaints between the client and the service provider.
